The IEEE OPS program at UCLA allows students to get hands on experience on fundamental electrical engineering skills.
As mentioned in our mobile apps, IEEE wants to invite one member to banquet at the end of the year. We will invite the member with the most points, so keep coming to our events this quarter, and let us know of any project accomplishments (ask your leads!).
Hopefully everybody is finished and did well with midterms for the quarter, in the very few last weeks of the Winter 2015 quarter, IEEE wants to remind all members that now is the best time to devote time to any project that you’re in. Whether you’re mapping out your PCB for OPS, mounting your cameras to your NATCARs, programming for Micromouse or C3, you should already know the amount of work left to do. As the quarter is coming to a close and everyone is preparing to face finals, UCLA IEEE is inviting everyone to unwind in Santa Monica for the IEEE UCLA-USC Beach Day on Saturday, March 4th. Be sure to save the date and RSVP on Facebook!
If you aren’t already, be sure to subscribe to our newsletter below and join our Facebook group to have real time updates on events, projects and what goes around in the IEEE lab!
The UCLA IEEE mobile apps were designed with members in mind. The core functionality right now is centered around events and points. Earn points by attending events and helping out IEEE, compete against your friends, and cash in for rewards! The app allows you to see upcoming events and announcements, as well as easily update your info with us. Many more features to come including leaderboards and more IEEE features.
